How We Measure

Soft toys are thoughtfully designed with close attention to proportions, structure, and character, allowing each piece to stand out with its own unique personality. Some designs feature taller, more slender silhouettes that create a refined and upright look, while others are intentionally compact and rounded, making them ideal for cuddling, carrying, or placing in cozy spaces. Certain styles combine a supportive structure with soft materials, offering both durability and a comforting feel. Because of these differences, clear sizing details are provided to help customers better understand how each toy will appear and function in everyday use. These measurements make it easier to imagine how a toy might fit in your hands, sit on a shelf, or complement other items in a collection.

To make comparisons simple and consistent, dimensions are presented in a standard format that typically includes height, width, and length. This uniform approach ensures that customers can easily evaluate different designs, even when their shapes and proportions vary significantly. Presenting measurements in a consistent way also helps minimize confusion and allows for more accurate expectations regarding the overall size of each product.

Certain decorative or flexible elements, such as ears, tails, whiskers, or antenna-like features, are generally not included in the official measurements. These parts can bend or shift depending on how the toy is positioned, which makes them less reliable for standardized sizing. By focusing on the main body of the toy, the measurements provide a more practical and dependable reference for storage, display, and everyday handling.

For toys designed to sit upright or remain in a seated position, height is measured from the highest point of the head down to the base of the feet. Width represents the widest part of the body when viewed from the back, and length indicates the distance from the front of the torso to the back. In some cases, a sitting height is also provided, which measures the vertical distance from the top of the head to the base when the toy is seated, excluding the legs. This detail is especially helpful when considering placement on shelves, desks, or other areas where vertical space may be limited.

For toys intended to lie flat or rest horizontally, measurements are adjusted to reflect their natural position. Height is taken from the highest point of the body when the toy is at rest, while width is measured across the broadest part of the torso. Length extends from the front of the face or nose to the back end of the body. Limbs and other movable features are typically excluded to maintain consistency across different designs.

In cases where toys have extended limbs or flexible appendages, such as long arms or similar features, measurements are based on the toy’s natural resting position without stretching these parts. Height is determined from the top of the head to the lowest point of the body, while width and length continue to focus on the central structure. Sitting height, when provided, applies only to the main body and does not include extended components.

These measurement guidelines are intended to offer clear and reliable information for every design. By following a consistent and structured approach, customers can better understand the proportions and scale of each toy, making it easier to choose the right option for their needs. Whether the goal is display, collection, or everyday enjoyment, accurate sizing details help ensure that each item meets expectations in both appearance and practicality.
